Author Topic: looking into buying headphones?  (Read 3074 times)

If you just want to listen to tunes on a mobile device of some sort, I suggest top-quality earbuds or a nice set like the newer Skullcandies (I have the Hesh Shattered Grey model) or Beats audio.

For computer and gaming, I suggest a high-quality audio headset from either Sennheiser or Razer. (NOT the Razer Megaladon)

ew earbuds
earbuds are actually fit for purpose, which is delivering sound into your ears, as supposed to somewhere around your ears.

I got me a 20$ pair of radio shack brand headphones and they work great. But not as good as a pair of Skull Candys

Skull Candy's are by far the best I hear because it takes and blocks out everything.
Turtle beaches.

morons, don't listen to them

stay the forget away from skull candies and beats. pieces of stuff. turtle beaches are OK for console gaming but if you want headphones look elsewhere.

ew turtle beach
they're bad and most of the new models look gross.

skullcandy and similar aren't even made for human ears.

Right now, I'm using some $50 Plantronics headphones. The sound quality is okay, but the mic is just horrendous.

turtle beach is worse than Skullcandies by a few hundred miles.
Skullcandies are not only comfy as forget and durable, but they have so far provided me with crisp, clear and pounding bass while in use.
And I use my phone to listen to Skrillex.

As I said, Sennheiser is your best choice, but they're about as overpriced as Beats, which provide similar quality to Sennheiser, only they leak noise like stuff.

Ear buds are good yes. But they irritate my ears.

If you want something that's invincible, and still delivers some pretty great sound for their price.

If you want something that's the best, go grab some Sennheisers

Hopefully less than awkward sound.

You know what disappoints me?
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7.0 plays music fantastically and provides equalizer settings and bass enhancement/music clarity options.
Yet, the pair of samsung earbuds that come with the tablet, are utter stuff and painful to wear.

I have, what i believe, a $40-$50 dollar pair of skull candy "smoking buds" earbuds.
They work great, block out EVERYTHING when music is playing.

where's beachbum when we need him ..
