Author Topic: looking into buying headphones?  (Read 3077 times)

alrighty blockland forums, i'm thinking about buying some newer headphones. but before i get into details, i have two quick questions:

beats by dr. dre - what exactly is the downside of these? i always hear people say they aren't good, but im listening to songs with my friends pair right now and they sound pretty good. the only downside so far is they leak like a bitch, but thats it.

skullcandy's - i hear people turn these down as well. i've never listened to music with them but i thought they were top notch

souls - a friend of mine said these were some of the best you could get, but ive never even heard of them till he showed me them so i wasn't really into it

so what do you think forums? should i look into the ones i listed or venture out and find something different? im also open to any suggestions anyone has

EDIT: i would also like headphones that have a relatively good bass. i enjoy it when headphones rattle from the bass c:

I got the ones that start with R. Really good. I break them all the time though.

Sennhiesers or AKG (If you got the money)

No.  Don't buy beats.  They're stuff.  They can't do higher range at all.  get a pair of sennheisers.

These are the best freaking things I've ever had.
They break all the freaking time but it's fine just get ten pairs and you'll be sorted it's fine just go with it!
>>great bass<<
No seriously I'm just not careful with mine.

I got me a 20$ pair of radio shack brand headphones and they work great. But not as good as a pair of Skull Candys

Skull Candy's are by far the best I hear because it takes and blocks out everything.
