Total longshot, but is it possible to use papercraft things like that to make molds?

of course its possible. like what volko said, you make your paper model, and then you can cover it in some type of resin, preferably fiberglass, sand it and cover it with something more stronger, like a body filler. most helmet makers do it from scratch, but pepakura is a pretty good base

I wouldn't make floating feet and hands. My sulotion is to glue the feet and hands together. ill try and make a template
