Notch must be the only person working for Mojang, because everyone says "Notches new game" when it's "Mojang's new game" damnit
It's a solo Notch project.
aka he'll stuff out some bad code then hand it over to someone more competent, right?
http://0x10c.com/#0x10c on TwitterFrom the website:This is going to be some sort of a space colonization game with a very immersive economy. Your ship will apparently be customizable and follow a power grid that restricts the ship's capability based on wattage. You will be able to land on planets and perform a variety of actions.Singleplayer and multiplayer will be connected to a system called the Multiverse which will probably cost a monthly fee in the game's early stages. It is unknown whether or not usage of the Multiverse will be mandatory. However: https://twitter.com/#!/ChrisTrudgen/status/187298384774836224"Chris @ChrisTrudgen@notch Site says it might be monthly fee due to Multiverse servers, will there be a single player vs AI mode that you don't need a sub for?""Markus Persson @notch@ChrisTrudgen I won't promise anything yet, but that's the current plan, yes. "NOTCH HAS GAINED FAME, I HATE HIM"
Yeah its his fame, not the fact that his games are buggy and stufftily coded. u got us11
stufftily coded? Do you expect AAA quality from a company without a QA team or anything? And really, Minecraft is more well made than most indie games.
I'm assuming you haven't seen Notch's un-obfuscated code.
You mean the code he never released? Decompiled code isn't the same as its source and often looks terrible.
