So your argument in favor of emulating other video games within Blockland is because it's like making a gun Under mounted Grenade Launcher, try reading. that shoots knives?

See the problem with this is that these custom game modes don't really do anything new. Pecon's Boss Battles is basically just the boss fighting minigame from Team Fortress 2 with player-controlled bosses. This mod itself is essentially Minecraft,  Wait, so it was in TF2 and then in Minecraft?  CONSPIRACY! but in a different engine. Jail RP and CityRPG servers are carbon copies of CityRP on GMod and Jailbreak on Counter-Strike.

There are interesting game modes that take advantages of Blockland's unique abilities, things like Trench Wars or Fort Wars or that one server with the disappearing blocks you have to stand on, or the other one with the floating platforms and the knives and grappling hook. But for every one of these there's 50 different TEAM FORTRESS 2 TDM Wait what?  Since when?  Its more so 50 stuffty family RPs than 50 TF2 Servers.  In fact, I have never seen a TF2 server open let alone 50.  I've seen TF2 weapons, but not. servers and honestly it's annoying.  If anything is annoying it's the stuffty RP's.  loving trolls turn them into even stufftier DMs.

I'm not saying people can't like other games, or that they can't draw inspiration from those games, but there's a big difference between "drawing inspiration" and "making Battlefield 3 BUT IT'S IN BLOCKLAND NOW." The former can make really cool interesting things. The latter is just lazy and ultimately makes me just want to play Battlefield 3 instead of Blockland.
OK, honestly, I think you over exaggerated things.  So things are based off games?  Its not like they copy-pasta'd everything. (which they couldn't)  They take ideas from other games because they like the concept of the game.  If they can, they try to implement it into their game of choice, thinking it will make it better.  Sometimes it does, other times it doesn't.

If it involves Port, it won't be finished. Actually if it involves anybody who actively posts in Coding Help, it will never be finished. Most of them are skiddies.
lol'd because it's probably true

I'm kinda confused, because you can't build infinite bricks here
so infinite terrain out of bricks wouldn't work out
and going through all that trouble to generate terrain infinitely in blockland would make all that work pointless, because I don't believe terrain will be around much longer

CityRP is based off the mod for Garry's Mod called "DarkRP." It is a mod that is based off a mod for a mod.
Actually do some research before you whip out your richard.

This is Blockland. Not Minecraft

Why did you bump this

Will this ever come out?
