Author Topic: EA wins "Worst Company in America" 2012 award...  (Read 1438 times)

I wonder how Dice feels about EA's stuff

I do feel bad for all the devs who work under EA.

pretty sure EA barely makes anything themselves, except origin which certainly hasn't won any awards.

some guy in the comments hit the nail on the head when he said that what makes EA stand out is how they have absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

EA doesnt make games because they're a publisher.

They made an iphone game of mirror's edge but no mirror's edge 2. :c;c;c

EA doesnt make games because they're a publisher.
Yeah, but I hate how it's like:
HEY GUYS, EA PUBLISHED THIS GAME!
Did you know? That EA published this?
Not? Okay, well we did. 'Cause we're EA.
Oh and those guys overthere actually made the game but that doesn't matter.

EA doesnt make games because they're a publisher.
Yeah thats why they aren't allowed to say "We’re going to continue making award-winning games"
If they said "We're going to continue milking award-winning franchises dry" then they'd have a point.

The fact that they even responded to such an insignificant website shows how insecure they are lol.

I seriously don't know why EA is trying for way more money, they are loving huge already. They've got Madden, NFS and the Battlefield series.

EA is the worst company related to gaming hands down. I will give a great example: Warhammer Online. They forced it to release early without the ENGINE ITSELF actually being done. They released it with like 500 servers so there was 20 people per server. Directly after it was released they cut the budget for development into 1/3rd and opened up a cash shop style store when the game is already b2p and p2p. They actually literally stole from people, I cancelled my warhammer online subscription 3 times and it kept charging anyway until I had to call them and threaten them if it happens again, many people had the same problem. One month there was an error where warhammer charged accounts multiple times until there was no money left, some people were charged like $5,000 or more. Now the game is completely dead.

Main reasons EA are forgettards:

1. They will do anything for money, they don't care about reputation or consumer loyalty.
2. The following points will be based off number 1. They normally cut the budget on development after releasing a game just to maximize profit by firing a ton of people.
3. DLC on day one, charging for fixes to broken games, expensive DLC nonstop it never ends!
4. Wacky anti-piracy stuff everyone hates.
5. They treat their employees like stuff, many used and tossed aside ex employees have come out and talked about it and even sued.
6. They will do anything for money, they don't care about reputation or consumer loyalty.

I am one of the few people that actually boycott them now. I will never buy a game with EA as the publisher no matter how amazing it is and everyone loves it unless they learn to treat their employees and customers right.

Played =/= enjoyed

Fun relevant fact: 'Worst' is the Dutch word for 'Sausage'.
EA wins Sausage Company of the Year!
wait...

I've hated EA since they started using Origin.

I've hated EA since they started using Origin.
I've hated EA since they forgeted the Command & Conquer series up

But everyone went mad when I talked bad about EA in a Battlefield thread.
