It was an April Fool's Joke. They've been using the opening scene of The Room as part of their pranks for a few years now, if I recall correctly.
They seem to be interested in possibly bringing it back though, asking their fans about it and whatnot. I wouldn't expect it coming back for a couple weeks though if they plan to do so.

Their schedule doesn't say anything about such things either, though I suppose they could change it up to surprise people.
