The Government is sucking the richards of the other people who are paying them to do this.

...Literal- Oh god no. Well yeah, the corps are basically influenceing the hell out of them.

I swear the government is actually just joking around and making these things so they can get viral on the internet for protesting it.

Why would the government want to get viral on the internet?
The Government is sucking the richards of the other people who are paying them to do this.
Also this.

it's funny because this bill isn't even close to as broad as SOPA, in fact it's a better choice to pass than SOPA.
Quote
       •    The bill has a very broad, almost unlimited definition of the information that can be shared with government agencies notwithstanding privacy and other laws;
        •    The bill is likely to lead to expansion of the government’s role in the monitoring of private communications as a result of this sharing;
        •    It is likely to shift control of government cybersecurity efforts from civilian agencies to the military;
        •    Once the information is shared with the government, it wouldn’t have to be used for cybesecurity, but could instead be used for any purpose that is not specifically prohibited.
a lot of that information is false. read the actual bill itself, rather than reading what some random guy typed up and believing it.

I also think it's funny that people think they're losing privacy. Companies have always been able to monitor everything you do. Facebook actually owns every picture you post. Does anyone actually read the EULA?

The U.S government has become nothing more than a lieing body that has become so paranoid of the people that voted them in has started to take actions to mantain its power by all means necessary as well has givening into the demands of the person to throw money it's way.

There are so many laws that contradict the constitution that they might as well throw it way. Remember no excessive bail? Judges set bail so you can't pay out of your pocket to get out of jail. What about 2nd amend militias? California made them Illegal. Right to privacy? How about wiretapping and people scanning your pc. Protests and freespeech? Might aswell pepper spray yourself even if you file a protest with the local government.
