Yes, in the movies and books the writing only shows when the ring is put into a fire.

This is why I said it does not have to have the writing on it. I simply just thought this would look cool.

The mod itself shouldn't be too hard, the model is simple and you can tear the script from the TF2 Spy items.

Nice suggestions about how to make it, and I probably should have made this clear earlier, I have no experience at all with scripting or making add-ons.

I don't have any experience either, but making the Cloak & Dagger drain health and remove the daggar.

Wouldn't the model just be a cube?  Because a blocklander's finger is a rectangular prism, and rings fit snugly over it.

A square yes, but not a cube, because for it to be a ring it can't have a top or bottom.
