I like to hunt small animals

And I do it a lot. As much as I can actually. I do it for sport, and I believe in pest control anyway since there are so many down where I live. I like to shoot animals like rats, common birds, (snakes when I can) and moles. But does that make me a bad person? Most of the few friends I have think it's cruel, and only one or two think it's cool.

I've counted at least 20 kills when I've started so far, and I would love to hunt bigger game sometime.

You can eat wood-pigeon, but I don't think you get it in America.
I wouldn't trust your regular city/town pigeon though... Likely a little bit too dirty, in my opinion.
But there probably is some way to prepare them.

I don't really mind hunting much, although for some reason I'm less impressed with hunting with guns.
I've got a friend who does some bird hunting but mainly rabbit hunting, for which he uses Ferrets, Nets and Traps.
And I think he uses a sling for birds, which is pretty cool.
