I'll host the server now, perhaps?
If not many people join I'll close it down, though.

Of course you host after I sign off and do something else. :P
I'm going to have to keep an extra tab open for this.

I know, right?

If you get a kalph dedi, there's nothing saying you have to leave it up 24/7. It would improve connection quality for most people.

Also you could leave it passworded when you're gone, and then you could tell others who actually contribute to the build the password, so they can work on it even when you're not there.

That's a good idea.

Speaking of passwords, I suggest keeping the server locked, and the password being somewhere in the OP - like the first topic. That way we don't get people joining and not having any background info or idea on what to do. As opposed to someone who read the entire OP, saw the password and joins the server knowing what to do and such.

Knaz said he will host between 2PM and 10PM. Right now i't's 3AM where he is, considering he still lives in Adelaide, Australia.

I use this to know when the server may be up.

Yes. After last night I will definately get an American server.
I'll need your help though- my current financial state is a wreck and I can't spare much money- I'll create a paypal account and take donations.

Thanks, I'll put that link in the OP.

Yeah, I used to do this a lot. Normally the password for my server is 'brain', whether I'm building or roleplaying. You're all welcome to stop by while the server is passworded.
I'll start hosting now, but only to build.

I full-heartedly agree with everything IcyGamma has said. Hosting has become too inconsistent and is ruining the role playing environment.

This ones for you, guys x

I'd really like to, but I feel a little bad.
You should use it, yo!
But add me add we can talk, I guess:

Steam: Knaztekz
Skype Kniazzy
MSN: Kniaz@Live.Com.Au

so after a moderately long discussion i pushed my server onto kniaz and he agreed to utilize it.

sooo
as soon as i get the add-ons and preferences, and he gives me the green light, we have a dedicated!

Yup!
I'll start up donations anyway, just so you bitches can line my pockets so we can extend the dedicated hosting when the time comes.
