gonna request from now on that admins kick instead of ban players for misusing /setname just to avoid dramas.

Ban for mis-using it if they just get really silly and/or offensive.

Remember to warn them, too.

Ease up on the trigger, guys.

Also, some admins don't moniter the thread- if you see them in-game spread the word.

I was there at the time, and the bans were completely justified. There's a warning in the welcome message, and Ike and I both warned them an additional 3 or 4 times. They were trying to be funny with their names by setting them to "Seymour Bust" and "Hugh Jass"
People have been banned for less... Ike's doing a great job.

Jeffrey Bronker, husband, friend and random sidecharacter died.

He was bitten some time ago and turned nearly just after meeting his mourning widow Linda. She had to shoot him and properly burried him in the camp. Nobody came to his funeral.

~Good night, sweet prince.

I have lots of screenshots to post but I will once the server goes down :o

Uploading screenshots as we speak

Get's shot in the leg, still runs away.
Catch him and cut his arm off, ''NOPE, NOT BLEEDING OUT.''

A mutalid terrorizes the survivor camp; many survivors are startled and seriously injured.

It is learned that the survivors, with a mix of drunkenness and tiredness, attempt to befriend the mutalid.

A little while later, a survivor group finds the bluzone.

They are hostile and demand supplies, and even start a fight.

Two are injured in a shootout, the group of rogue survivors are then forced out.

After the chaos, the clouds shortly dissipate to reveal a brief moment of sunshine.

Something tells me your were power role-playing, and the other just didn't want you loving their character over.

I told you already that the player has to consent to things like this.

You can't just end people's characters when you feel like that. That's terrible roleplaying.

Power role-playing is bad, but so is ignoring things that happen around you. If someone chops your hand off for no significant reason, then yeah, I can see you wanting to 'void' that, and doing so. But if you flee from a man who you previously shot, and he clearly shoots you with a few SMG rounds as you exit the bar, don't keep running all the way to the loving pipe line... Stop, and if you really don't want your character to die in the situation, plea for forgiveness, swear to leave the camp, offer some sort of compensation... Another way you can avoid your character's death is to refrain from shooting people for lame reasons.

The thing I hate most about bad RPers, is when you shoot them, and they ignore the fact that a bullet just went right through their brain, and act like their bullets are far more significant and they continue to shoot at you. PEOPLE. If you get shot... DON'T loving KEEP SHOOTING WHOEVER SHOT YOU UNTIL THEY'RE DOWNED... CHRIST. In most 'gunfights' there's ONE shot fired: The shot that hits a player. You NEVER have to shoot anyone twice, and you should NEVER shoot anyone when you're down, without delay and further RP, at least. Sometimes there's more fire before-hand, but once someone's hit, the gunfight's over.

This is one of the biggest signs of bad RPing on this server for me. If you want people to see you as a good RPer, and you don't want to get banned. Don't make the mistakes mentioned above.

Anyway, besides the relatively large number of role-play morons, it was fun today. Pip was shot (for the 7th time?) but he got better and he kicked major ass in the shootout. Once Gammaton is ready, his story will finally advance.

Yes! I see alot of instances where people considers "gunfights" as downing people with multiple blows. It's aggravating.

Fianlly somebody posted their opinion of this.

I just wish everyone who joined the server read the recent posts on this thread first... Or maybe just that the rules were more in depth. I can't complain though, the gameplay that this server has created is beyond impressive.

Wish I could have been there!

Had some stuff I had to do :)

I'll be there next time.
