Author Topic: Zombies in the Bluzone** [[CLOSING]]  (Read 601882 times)

I had this idea of an event to happen in bluzone.

Three words.

Giant Graboid Attack

Just imagine....the military disturbed a nest of these things far off, causing them to migrate to a warmer climate.

This said warmer climate's route is right through the survivor base.

I kinda like this idea, but its like impossible to kill these things.

If they did attack Bluzone, maybe it should snow like the next day, and the worms never ever seen again.

But this would be cool like once, some preeety pictures and upset survivors, drawing them together or further apart.

IF it snows the Next day Wouldnt the Mutalids go down South too.
Because they are Lizards and like warm weather.

I think Bluzone is straying too far away from a Zombie RP and turning into a Sci-Fi RP. I'll be honest, I was kind of disappointed when I saw there were Mutalids; but the reaaon they are there does make sense and has to do with the zombies. Still, it's a bit odd.

Several things:

1. My apologies for the idiocy of my previous posts. I posted the "Ching chong potato" thing to attempt to mock the stupidity and it wasn't very clear, it won't happen again. (Maybe it WAS bluzone withdrawal XD)
2. That would be cool, but perhaps they are just passing through and are only attacking for like a day and then they continue on to their destination. Though I also sort of agree with Awdax that the zombie aspect is becoming more and more background; but since players cannot RP as zombies (because zombies are nonsentient and dead players cannot return), it was rather inevitable.

Don't we all. *is shot*

Seriously though, rapid climate change would be rather devastating to any group, and there'd have to be a very solid reason behind the sudden transition.

Players could never RP infected. It's boring. By "Zombie RP" it meant a role-play in the zombie apocalypse. Plain and simple. And if there ever is winter in the Bluzone, most likely the zombies will be set to slow. Nothing to worry about.

It is boring assuming that there are no sentient infected. Even so, true, but zombies slowly become less of the focus. When you compare the number of survivors Perma-Killed by Zombies to the number Perma-Killed by the Military, you see a gradual shift over towards the military. I wouldn't be surprised if a group of survivors captured a Witch and let it loose in an active Military compound as a bio-weapon.

Given the extent of her claw damage, I'm gonna go with a metal crate, too high for her to jump out of, and a strong lift, perhaps a small mobile crane on the roof of the medical area. The crate would have one open side, and the top would begin opened. One survivor would stand in the crate and shoot the witch, and just before she got to him another survivor would pull him out with the mini-crane and a third and fourth survivors would close and lock the open edge. Witches can't jump very well, so then just close the top of the crate and you have a captive zombie bio-weapon.

This sounds like the recipe for disaster!

But in all seriousness, yes, it is a recipe for disaster, as if the witch's claws ever broke through the metal she'd shred everyone.
