You won't be able to join this server for one week because you may have accidentally killed someone or been accused of something you didn't do. People need to look at it from the 'person-being-banned's' perspective. Maybe they didn't even do anything at all and now they can't come to your server for a week.
So yes, it is a little too extreme.
The MOST someone should be banned in a Jail Break server is 1 day and that would be for like going on a freekill rampage. If they come back the next day and do it again, then I can see a week.
then they can just RTB the host and say sorry, or the admins should be more careful
*if they come back and do it again they should be banned permanently. they obviously didn't get the hint the first time, and it doesn't seem like they will. keeping brats that do this crap on purpose is what ruins servers. again, i never have problems with people who visit my server because majority of the ones who act up get kicked out for good. the ones who get banned by a mistake RTB me and get unbanned.
not every one is making 'good and honest mistakes', there are people who will join for the sole purpose of being stupid and trying to ruin others fun. the rules shouldn't be hard to follow unless they are bad.
