So this downloads the image to the client, yes? And how about image placement?
So are these live on the internet, or are they going to be stored locally in the app?

epic. brilliant.

also i notice tetris.
and do those smexy screensavers come with BlockOS

This seems like a really awesome idea. I've daydreamed about something similar, though rather an actual HTML parser.
What kind of graphics will this be able to display? Does it only show plain text with images, or will we be able to create more complex layouts? You could probably use custom BBCode and labels to display things such as table borders and divs.

Writing a html/css parser would take far too much time. However adding structure with tables should not be too hard to implement.

can you have a version of this that isn't tied to BOS?

actually, i know you can.
will you?

Would involve more work, plus that they're probably using this as a selling point for BOS.

what, to make it its own add-on?
that hardly seems like more work to me

You know have to repackage twice for every update, add another non-BOS entry point, etc.
