Every time I try to join a random server online for campaign, it tell me this:

Please remove plug-ins before attempting to join a VAC secured server.

I am confuse.  Please help.

On the Steam Library, right click on L4D2. Go down to Properties, then Local Files. Try doing Verify Integrity of Game Cache. That should work.
