BlockoWorld 2012 Update Thread - Thread imminent.

These aren't as interesting to most people just walking around and seeing cool builds with really interesting and neat stuff at the booth. It would get a lot more attention if you had, as Heed said, events going on. Such as small DM's made by a certain clan or the hosts, arcade room with a bunch of neat evented arcade games, some kind of concert performance whether it be a stage act or some music thing with YR. Just an idea.

Last year, ScatteredSpace had a controllable bot fight arena at there both, it was pretty cool.

I shall take this under consideration. I remember a mod awhile back called Block City which allowed a DM Arena to run aside the server's default minigame.

The funny thing is it was made by Scattered Space. Maybe someone could make a custom script for this type of thing to exist for BlockoWorld.

And yes, I never said you can't use your custom add-ons for your booths. We're still allowing people to do that.

Does our booth have to have events? Or is this a sort of Advertising Area?


Also, I have a working DDR machine (not by me; those events are pretty complex) that has up to 6 levels of speed, a completely random color generation, and 4 lives per round.

However, it uses a lot of named bricks and so therefore cannot be duplicated to create multiple machines. I do know how to build one now, though, that would use less named bricks.




If you'd like the save I can give you it. The ddr machine (not the rest of the stuff in the save) only requires default.

I could ask Mr.Doom if he would cough up that part of the script. No idea if he would allow it though.
