And thus the guy sitting at a computer triumphed over hundreds of people with debilitating mental handicaps.

Certainly the greatest hero of our time, indeed.

debilitating mental handicaps.

lol

lol lol lol

You always end your posts with "lol". Drives me crazy.

Anyway, I don't see you realizing how it truly feels to be depressed any time in the future, considering just how stubborn you are about your belief that it's completely imaginary. You can continue hating people who already feel terrible about themselves, and unfortunately you'll never figure out why you're such a richard.

I'm not replying after this. Whether you win or not, I figured that my reputation with you isn't worth it. You seem pretty self-absorbed as it is.

Getting off your computer and being social and in the sunlight actually make a very big deal, you should try it.

I know this is multiple pages late, but..

Eliminating as much unhealthy food from your diet (especially sugary stuff like soda, candy, etc.) as possible will make it easier to maintain a positive, confident mindset that others will be attracted to.

I hate when people say this. I hate it. This is the most inaccurate, misleading, completely baseless theory I've ever heard. Most myths have some kind of possible base under them, but this one is completely baseless. There is absolutely NO reason why consuming sugar would make you a sadder person. Depression is caused by low levels of serotonin in the brain, not high blood sugar levels. If anything, a heightened blood sugar level would improve one's mood, an abundance of food for cells leads to satisfaction, releasing serotonin in the reward pathway, increasing pleasure gained from life. The reason people claim to feel "cleansed" when eating fresher food is not because they've cleared the sugar plague from their body, it's because the influx of nutrients that were previously less available causes satisfaction.

TL;DR: Sugar doesn't make you sad

you cant compare gangrene, an infection that requires meds; to a mental disorder that can simply be fixed by improving your lifetyle, environment, habbits, hobbies, or social activity.

are you actually implying that a person who is a crying little bitch is an expert at diagnosing depression? lol

You missed the point the point isn't that there's a comparison between gamgreen and depression the point is that you don't really know about depression or what it does to someone

a very simple thing yet you missed it entirely

Most mental disorders can be resolved via these methods. It's referred to as cognitive therapy. A glaring exception would be schizophrenia.

=/ Most teenagers I know don't feel like there entire life is pointless, that if everything is going to end, why put the effort into making things good. Why try when no one cares what you do. I'm alone, no one cares, so why should I?
did you tell everyone at school about this?
no. I don't think so.
so why would they tell you if they were having these problems?

Eating lots of sugar is going to give you sudden peaks and troughs in the amount of glucose in your blood; symptoms that this is going on include fatigue, irritability, dizziness, insomnia, excessive sweating (especially at night), poor concentration and forgetfulness, excessive thirst, depression and crying spells, digestive disturbances and blurred vision. Since the brain depends on an even supply of glucose it is no surprise to find that sugar has been implicated in aggressive behavior, anxiety, and depression, and fatigue.

Lots of refined sugar and refined carbohydrates (meaning white bread, pasta, rice and most processed foods,) is also linked with depression because these foods not only supply very little in the way of nutrients but they also use up the mood enhancing B vitamins; turning each teaspoon of sugar into energy needs B vitamins. In fact, a study of 3,456 middle-aged civil servants, published in British Journal of Psychiatry found that those who had a diet which contained a lot of processed foods had a 58% increased risk for depression, whereas those whose diet could be described as containing more whole foods had a 26% reduced risk for depression.

Sugar also diverts the supply of another nutrient involved in mood – chromium. This mineral is vital for keeping your blood sugar level stable because insulin, which clears glucose from the blood, can’t work properly without it.

You can see it in how they act. you can tell by the look in their eye, the look that says why am i  here.

Or maybe they don't swim in their tears like you.

If you want to feel better, go to a therapist and try to figure out what is actually making you depressed. Don't come on here fishing for sympathy like a child.

Way to be a drama queen.

^ I swear to god this is why all the nerds and geeks that never go outside or participate in anything spend their time wallowing in their own self pity, get a life and you feel better.

Yeah get some sun bro.

Or do a sport, it's fun :D
