so i had this idea after the vehicle gets x amout of damage ital change the model
i'll use the halo warthog for example

ya i thought it would have some problems...
i just wish there can be one in existence

Maybe event an onVehicleDamge=, and change the color with a certain amount of damage dealt...?

Nodes exist for a reason

So each time damage is inflicted, each node of the
vehicle gets deleted?

Actually more like:

Damage is taken --> nondamaged node is hidden --> damaged node is shown.

Pretty sure doing it that way would save on how many faces are rendered at once.

Still would take datablocks.

So it's already possible, the only problem is that vehicle makers don't do this.
