Author Topic: The school nurse recommended I get an eye exam.  (Read 1841 times)

So, I was outside today, and I got hit in the face with a soccer ball, and I went to go see the nurse.

I told her that I already had a headache and it made it worse when I got hit by it, and she suggested I go see an eye doctor, because I have a messed up eye.

So, if I do end up needing glasses, glasses or contacts?

Also, I uploaded a picture of me, so you guys can decide, with all your fashiony skills, if I should get glasses or contacts.

Start with glasses, most eye doctors tend to not allow contacts right away until your of a certain age.

Than you do?

Go to a good one because mine lied... 20/20 my ass I can't even see strait.

nope. unless you got hit super hard.

Glasses are easier but in the same way they are a pain too. They can break and bend and stuff but contacts don't last nearly as long.
I plan on getting contacts though when i get my next eye exam

That reminds me.
I need to see if I can get my prescription in some aviator goggles.

Also
How bad is your eye messed up?

Hope you don't lose your eye.

In the event that you do, wear an eyepatch and be a pirate. ARRRR

Also, I had an eye infection that nearly took my right eye, it has tunnel vision now.

If you cannot get to one right away if you do plan to go put some ice on your eye.

I never said the soccer ball messed it up.
Apparently it was kinda messed up, but then I got hit in the side of my head with a soccer ball

I've been hit with a football in the head and it only blurred my vision for about a minute or two. You'll be okay don't worry.

Create a eye and replace the broken one

glasses are generally easier to use, but contacts aren't a hassle with getting broken or stepped on.

not sure about pricing differences though

this one kid hit his head when he was cross eyed, i don't know what happend but he was crying and ran out the class room.
