GOAL:
Kill everyone. Be the last one alive.
RULES:
No hacking
No strip/branch/quarry mining (basically, you can mine a staircase down as far as you want, but can't start branching off it looking for ores. the only legitimate way to farm ores is caving). This is to prevent noone being able to find you for a long time, and then you suddenly coming out all OP w/ diamond gear.
Alliances ARE allowed, but there can only be one winner. If you're in an alliance, it might be smart to backstab your "friend(s)".

okay so what happens to the player after they die?
do they like get kicked from the server or do they go in some sort of flying spectators mode or something
for now, as skip said, you're banned. but there is a "ghost" mod so that after you die you can fly around but no one can see you or anything. we'll use that in future games if it works well.
Are spectators allowed?
By this I mean, can people join and be put in creative mode to watch?
I guess that may be a bit risky since they could mess with the people who are playing though.
Not this time, as not only could spectators interfere but they would give away peoples' positions. In the future, possibly. But I don't want to over-stress the server.
