Author Topic: Need a sound card for my computer.  (Read 532 times)

So my Mobo's default sound broke, and I need a soundcard to get sound now.
I don't have 100 dollars on me this time so a I need a cheap one that will play sound.

Price range 20-60 dollars.

I Do not have 150 to buy a good one right now, and I don't really know any good sound card brands so yea...
I cannot buy online it must be at a store I can go to in a vehicle.
No really I would buy a good one but I dont have the money right now.

A basic 30 dollar sound card will probably have the same or better sound quality than onboard.

you state that you can't buy online but yet you don't state any type of computer hardware retailers around you

Nope, onboard sound quality is as good as most sound cards. Really the only time you want a sound card is if you want to some special thing with speakers or listen to some really high quality sound files. Sound cards are almost always a waste of money

I didn't want to bump this but, I found one at  Fry's for 34 dollars, and its pretty good also to the ones who questioned about why not buying online, my parents always try and avoid buying online.Buying Minecraft was really hard for me.

Anyways locking.
