Things you hate seeing in builds

Red bricks. I mean, its ok if you are doing it for a reason but GOD, RECOLOR THEM AFTER PLACING

Doors that kill when restricted.

Overuse of events.

Those stupid rainbow screen TVs.

Using huge print bricks to write "Blockhedz hous"

Making a big loving empty box with only a bed and a "TV"

Using JVS for everything which is movable.

Random weapon spawns and weapon giving bricks. (Expect in Fortwars. Just mark them.)

I wouldn't say that I'm fully against ramp cliffs. But this build certainly doesn't improve how I view them.


Sofas that lacks legs and a reasonable shape. This shape is sometimes alright but would be better with prints.


Basic builds that shows the floor on the exterior. Makes the build striped.


Any sort of symmetric terrain. You see it got a stair pattern. Totally my nr1 hate.


Various colored flowers randomly spread across the grass.
If you want wild flowers just use 1-2 colors with maybe different kind of tinting.


Depressive striped wallpapers with dirty dark colors. No.


Stone walls with various of grey. Works sometimes, but usually uses too big range of grey.


Oriental random windows. JUST... NEVER... DO IT


Fat stuffty roof. I think the inside of the roof should end where the wall end to look right.


This works sometimes but is not recommended to use.

hate: saving builds, then loading them to find out they use obnoxious "cheat bricks" like 1x3x5, 1x15x4 or 4x3 flat and other stupid shapes. i strongly suggest only using custom bricks that add a new shape, like octo bricks or windows. stop cheating because it's ugly

3. Any buy weapon system
Massive handicaps until you endure painful death over and over again with a few kills here and there? No thanks.

Yeah I hate this too, that's why if I was able to host and I wanted guns to be bought I would basically make it so you're buying the weapon(s) as a team. Like the gun was covered in bricks and when you bought it the bricks disappeared and all your team could get that weapon whenever they want. If you were to do this then I would suggest using the donate score mod. I like seeing teamwork in Blockland because of how rare it is.

I did that on glass's server, with the donation.  I was shorted 95 points, but I don't mind cause it is easy to get me back.  Most snipers don't know what they are doing, and are easy to kill.

I hate people who camp inside bricks (like make trench bricks cover them so they are impenetrable inside.
I hate houses of 1x1x5s, and I hate roofed that are pyramids.

i dont even use custom bricks because i dont like having to enable 20 brickpacks when i start a server

On a large scale, how do you avoid that (using pure cubescape)? It's a legitimite dislike I share, but sometimes its just unavoidable in order to let the terrain be navigable.

off-aligned cubes do solve the problem; however they're harder to pull off correctly for newbies or amateurs

Huge damn rainbow "TV" - the forget, if you want a TV, at least event it a bit to turn on/off, don't just apply a permanent rainbow FX to it and call it "loel tv"

CUBOID. HOUSES. Seriously, is your real life house that way?

Window-less houses. At least this will slow down once V21 comes out, since it'll be dark like hell unless they add a light.

Undulo water. FOR. forget'S. SAKE. Use waterfx. For god's sake don't use undulo.
