Introduction

• Hello and welcome to the RExx Industries hosted Minecraft server. This server runs a mod called Technic. This means that in order to play on this server, you must run the game through the Technic Launcher that can be found here. Something that should be remembered is that this server is based off of respect. The respect you give, is the respect you receive. I don't care how we stand on these forums, I don't care your opinion of me on here. When you enter, you get the same chance to play as my closest friends. Which brings me to my next point;

• This is a little something I've had to change around unfortunately. There was an extreme influx of horrendous people playing on the server ruining the fun for a lot of people, thus I had to incorporate a whitelist. If you'd like to play, you can just PM me your minecraft name or post it up here. There will soon be a registration system on the website made almost specifically for whitelist registration.

Server Rules

• The rules are pretty simple, I don't really have many in place because rules aren't fun. Nobody likes 'em.

• Don't be a richard.
• Don't grief.
• Don't spam.
• Don't be a brain-dead moron.

Explanations for those of you who need a crystal clear view;

• Don't be a richard - This is pretty self-explanatory. Don't be an starfish. Don't call people names, don't attack people for no reason, don't build inside of peoples houses, don't do anything that could be frowned upon.
• Don't grief - Griefing is the act of destroying someone elses blocks. Don't do that. It's not cool, bro.
• Don't spam - This is also pretty self-explanatory, don't randomly run around placing blocks in pointless places. This includes in peoples builds that aren't yours. If someone is building a sweet house, don't go in there and dump some lava, that's just rude.
• Don't be a brain-dead moron - If I need to explain this, well, you don't belong here.

Server Information

• Now of course, this wouldn't be a server advertisement without an actual server. But here's the catch, the server is currently down. The host is migrating the server to a new server box (decided to tell me this literally 5 minutes ago, while I was already working on this OP), and it won't be back up until 2-3AM Pacific Time. I of course won't be awake then, so I told him to just message me the information tomorrow and I'll put it up wherever I need it. But as some eye candy for you kids, here are the specifications of the server;

25-slot Restricted server. This means that there can be no more than 25 people in the server.
8 gigs DDR3 ram. When it's on the new box, this will be 12gigs of DDR3 (yes, just for me.)
dual i7 processors overclocked at 4.0GHz each.

Tekkit is the actual mod that you install on the server. Technic is the client you run it off of. ;)

Though actually, I suppose it could go both ways. Seeing as how the launcher says "Technic Launcher" but when you're in the actual launcher it says 'tekkit' ;o

I would assume it is 24/7? I'll certainly come check it out, seems ok. Do you have anything built yet, or is it still empty? And is there some kind of gameplay you are aiming for, like creative, survival, rp or anything of the sort?

Yes, 24/7 of course. And it's a completely blank canvas at the moment. And in terms of gameplay, it's just whatever Tekkit runs. There's creepers and such, and a ton more block options. It's really neat. Def no RP though. forget that stuff.

So I guess pvp is allowed then? There also didn't seem to be any chest or block protection mods, so I assume the world is fully editable by anyone?

The chests system is sweet. There are chests that you can make that only you can open. And when you place 'em, you can't move them. Not to mention the locked chests of course.

And in terms of PvP, I'm still on the border about it. I'm thinking about leaving it on though, but if it becomes an issue, I'll get rid of it.

Pvp should be left on unless you just want it to be a "build giant castles and pixel art" server.

Yes. But you don't get anything from it. Like the chest doesn't go into your inventory. I've never personally destroyed one, but you might get a circuit board from it or something.

That's what I was thinking, but some people are just loving stupid and don't know what they're doing so they attack errybody.

Could you add the multiverse mod so there can be a creative world too please? And allow people in creative to use NEI so we don't have to use the horrible creative menu?

Perhaps in the future. Currently I just want to see how well this takes off. Remember, if you promote and show this around to your friends / other communities you visit, the more powerful everything will be and the more I'll be able to do for you guys.

Indeed. Also for a web designer because I don't have the time to build a proper site. Same with artists and such. ;)

Granted, you help with any of the above and you're near guaranteed to be an admin. There will eventually be an application form for adminship.
