Author Topic: Happy St Georges Day  (Read 608 times)

Read about St George here

This is one of the only days where an Englishman can say fully 'Proud to be English'.
Why? Because St George's flag was pretty much identical to the England flag.

Used to live in UK. It's where I learned to speak English. :O

A little bit English.

I can celebrate too pls?

I wish there was more celebration of Saint George's day. It's almost treated as sinful for an englishman to celebrate it, as if it's not 'diverse' enough. I'll tell you what, if it was associated with alcohol as Saint Patrick's day is, everyone would celebrate it. It's not like everyone who celebrates on Saint Patrick's day is Irish. Anyway, I for one will be celebrating
it as every Englishman should. Georgian's too.

We had this topic called 'Give spare avatars' or something. It was by Lamebro1. Suburb gave the avatar to the OP and he sad it was fine for people to use it.
