Does anyone know why there are more than two lanes?
At first I though it was an HOV lane, for some reason separate from the others
But it didn't have any HOV diamonds on the lane, so

(how can I upload images? This is confusing)

I'm not sure about that, but on he first day we were here, both the house and senate were in session
Did I mention the SB 1070 protest?

I went to Washington D.C. last week. :3
Really sucks that almost everything is under renovation. Can't go in the Washington Monument because of that earthquake. Even the Reflecting Pool is being fixed, and it's completely drained.
Holy stuff, same

I was just in DC this past Friday-Tuesday, I miss it already! It's really neat being able to walk and take the metro to anywhere you need to go, I hope I get to visit again.

When did you get in DC, are you staying at a hotel in the center of everything, or outside? We stayed at one near the Crystal City station.

I got here Monday at like
5:00 AM
We're staying at the Holiday Inn Dulles, 15 or so minutes into VA

The metro system in DC might be cool
I don't know because we aren't using it
But I took NYC subways a few times when I went in 6th grade
It was neat

Wait about 265 years.
See if the thing is still intact.
See if the Brotherhood is there.

Well today began with the Arlington Cemetery
It was long, boring, and tiring
But as always, pretty sad
Someone in the band had great grandparents buried there, and she had never even been to DC
So we went to go let her see
While we were over there, there was a funeral going on very close
21 gun salute and Taps
It was sad even though I didn't know the soldier, if it was one
There were also two graves nearby I paid special attention to
One was Dennis McNamara, who had received a purple heart and a bronze medal
Purple hearts are almost always sad to think about for me
The other I didn't pay attention to the name of, but at the bottom, it said "Our dance is over until we meet again in heaven"
Those three things combined almost made me tear up

But after that we went to some of the Smithsonian museums
My sub-group specifically, went to Natural History and the West Wing of Art
The first was great, and I'd be willing to go to DC again later in life, if only to finish looking around there and take more and better pictures
But the West Wing is the gay older art section
It sucked, plus it was full of female tits and penii

Today we went to the National Air and Space Museum
Not the one on the mall, but the better one near the airport
It's like
A hangar full of airplanes
It's great
After that, we ate, then went to Heritage High School (I think that's it) for our performance (btw we got all gold ratings, which is he highest) and went to the Pentagon Fashion Center
It's a mall
And now we're on the bus, going back to Alabama
