just like pusillanimous individual

Went out tonight to shoot some light trails and grab some star photos since the sky was clear as day.  I as well took the opportunity to strap my LG G4 to a tripod and try some long exposure shots with it as well.

Here is the results with my phone and the setup I used

Now for a really interesting thing I did, so I took a slightly over exposed shot of the moon and played around in lightroom and created something quite different that I feel is worth sharing.

I like this picture I took 30 mins ago with an iPhone 5 when I went skateboarding.
I censored the street name because I can.

-snip-
Dude, that's really nice. It's like the style of long exposure/ timelapse you'd see in a documentary about cities.

I did first HDR photo. The HDR worked, but the photo itself isn't too great

suburb's and brickman's photos are both 10/10

I did another one. Used HDR so the fountain could be properly exposed without blowing out the sky

right click > view image for full size.

I don't know what happened with the sky bits. Like wherever the sky borders the leaves, it has a really strange border. I thought it was water bubbles at first, but then farther out from the fountain, and where there's huge bits of sky, it doesn't make sense

Last night I got pulled in to the studio at this convention I'm at and shot some studio work for a few hours, was pretty cool

CameraBag has to be the most userfriendly editing software i've used
http://nevercenter.com/camerabag/desktop/

I'd rather stick with Lightroom+Photoshop. I've already got the basics down, and since it's much more widely used, there will be more tutorials for anything I don't understand.

i have no idea what i'm doing
but i'm 100% ok with that

ooo, big studio boy. How was that experience? And did they pay you or were you just glad to be there in general?

and to be honest, I just use iPhoto lol. But that's only because I never really ever edit any of my pictures, unless they specifically need to be (i.e, b&w pic I posted of me smoking a J being the sickest kid around was CS6).
