Really? How did you get the dof to work on an iphone camera???

You simply just tap the object you want to focus on. You have to have a generous distance between the focal point and the background, though.

All taken using a Canon EOS 10D and a 24-85mm lens. Even the macro shots.

Recently though I purchased a 55-250mm lens and a EOS 60D, I hope to do some Toy Town photgraphy and a bit more light painting. I'll post some once I do it, if you'd be interested?

While exposing, slightly shifting the lens' focus.
If done right and if done well, it can gives things a really nice, glassy look- like the grass in that picture. I don't do it very often because it takes far too much time and card space.

If you were really interested:

ISO - 100
Focal Length - 24mm
Max Aperture - 3.614
Exposure time - 1/250 sec.

It's pretty hard to do without making the thing look stuff, and takes a lot of trial and error to get perfect.

That one is actually a firework. It's quite simply a high exposure, and moving the camera slightly to emphasize the trail a little more.

The 60D is great, it really is. Working with it is very smooth, and I'd suggest it to most enthusiast who have a spare thousand sitting around.

The only thing I don't like is it's difficult to work with in low light situations, which is a shame considering I do a lot of Urbex with my cameras.
