wait didn't frank woods get blown to pieces by grenades in black ops 1? i read up that it was possible he was taken to a pow camp and he survived. either that or the whole black ops 2 story is a dream.
He has no legs.

I hate how people are like "OMG I AM SO COOL I HAVE THIS MANY XP ON COD!" when i'm just trying to hang out with friends. Big whoop once they level up in real life then i'll be impressed.

I am still baffled at how they couldnt have made the graphics any better from the previous games. We have engines like the Cryengine and Frostbite 2, yet they still manage to make their games still look like cartoons?

Mainly because consoles suck.

if you get on the computer terminal at the main screen you can see that
woods survived somehow and was at a pow camp
also, i kinda get why they went with black ops 2, as in the game the US is in a 2nd cold war with china. seems pretty cool.

didn't someone say that consoles were holding the gaming industry back?

yay the new saints row dlc is out--

Wait, what.

The game looked a lot more detailed in the trailer so far.  And this is coming from a guy who has heavily criticized the game's appearance considering MW3 was literally just a stuff ton of optimization to handle larger scenes (i.e. NYC) and a few bells n whistles in terms of lighting/shadows.

The game is confirmed to use DX11 and the engine "update" (god knows which version of the same engine this is though.  It's like how Portal 2 still operates on Source except it doesn't suck as much) looks like it added a bit more flare and lighting improvements.

Oh, yeah definitely.  As long as a game markets on consoles it will be held back in graphics because the Xbox 360 and PS3 are using heavily outdated hardware.  VERY outdated hardware.  Hell, the next Xbox is supposed to use a variant of an AMD HD 6000 series video chip, which is already pretty outdated (for reference, the current series of AMD GPUs is the HD 7000 series).

Stand up in trench, fire, get fired at, take cover from artillery, eat dirty food, poop in trench, rinse and repeat.

Hey, if the Mount & Blade series can make the Napoleonic Era intense, then someone can make World War I exciting. I mean, look at this scene from The Lost Battalion. (this was based off a true story, mind you.) Even then, trench warfare is exciting at times, what with charging at the enemy, dodging machine gun fire, and fighting within the trenches themselves sounds pretty fun to me

I hope Ramirez and Foley return.

RAMIREZ! TAKE OUT THAT ROBOT WITH THIS SPOON!

In my opinion,

BO2

Every-other call of duty game besides MW3 and MW2

MW3

MW2

Hmm  around 1:19 I see an old M16 and some palm tree leaves.

Are we gonna go back to Vietnam? :D

Also this could be the WW2 thing from BO1. Yo dawg we heard you like black ops, so we put black ops in your black ops so you can black ops while you black op!

MW2's campaign was actually pretty good, no more infinitely respawning enemies.

if only that meme was funny
