Donkey Kong N64, Super Smash Bros., Goldeneye N64, Pokemon Stadium, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I had one of those. It wasn't just Sonic they were promoting, it was pretty much every franchise from Sega.

I got Animal Crossing, MarioKart, and a few other games for GameCube when I was little. Those are the earliest games I remember.

For the title of "First Video Game I Ever Owned" it's a tie between three games:





And another Game Boy game called "Road Rage" (not Simpson's Road Rage, just plain Road Rage), which I can't seem to find any documentation of for some reason, I got all three along with my purple Game Boy Color for Christmas when I was little

As for the first game I ever played I'll probably never know for sure, though Sonic the Hedgehog is probably very close to the top of that list
