yep
there's a small flight school relatively close to where I live (for that matter, there's actually a few)
and if you know me well, you know that I like planes a lot
my mom said that if I wait a couple of years (which is already required so I'm fine with that), she'll try to get me classes
flying is something I'm extremely interested in, even though it will take a lot of time and work
35 hours of ground school, 20 of instructed flight, 10 of solo, and 10 more of whichever
but it's worth it
flying a plane would be amazing, I'm not sure if there's anything I would want to do more
but I don't want a sport or recreational license, they're too restricted, and I don't need to bother with a commercial one because I probably wont have any interest in being a commercial pilot
and you have to be sixteen; that comes as kind of a surprise to me, that you can fly solo at the same age for driving solo
a pleasant surprise, though
I'm also interested in joining the USAF as a pilot
that will clearly take even more work, but to be in the military and a pilot at the same time would be perfect
plus, they'll help pay for college, which is nice
I honestly can't imagine being afraid of heights; being high in a tall building is so wonderful, and flight is really cool
