Since the release of polycubes (above), it is now possible to put prints on every side of that brick (more or less), so what I am proposing is the following:

The left is the traditional two bricks used for terrain builds, while the right is what I am suggesting. No lines connecting the brown bricks, but a line connecting the green and brown (the brown should be transparent in the print and take on the color of the brick) and the green should have the blockland stud textures on it. Also, on the bottom of the brick, should be the inlets/reverse studs.

After this, it would be a lot easier to make terrain builds. Just think of minecraft, how the grass blocks have dirt and grass in one.

You can package prints, can't you? Just use this template. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=192787.0

or, just a brick like the 4x cube, just 1 plate shorter

i'm not sure how to get the brick texture on the top/bottom without it looking handicapped/off scale and would rather a pro do it than me

the whole point of this is to save bricks.

Does your computer lag so badly that you have to optimize by the brick?

It matters a teensy bit more when it is a large area. In a large build (and I mean really large) using plates effectively doubles the brickcount
So if it's an 100k terrain build, adding the extra plate on almost every brick would add anywhere from 60k to 100k extra bricks

this. plus the fact if you want to save bricks by changing to larger plates, it can get pretty annoying.

f it since the poly cubes came out some one is probly making a MC print pack for it
