You know if the name of the game was something like "Arc of Humanity" isntead of Call of Duty I think it'd do better.

you mean you think that you would like it more because you are brainwashed to hate the franchise

It's preorder sales have already broken records. So you are definitely wrong

i never said i didnt hate, it in fact i preordered it too, just for the fun of it
i'm saying the dislikes HERE and THERE come from a general dislike to the franchise
don't assume :C

it still wouldn't do better without the COD name

I dont know why.
Its so stuff

I enjoyed all the COD games I've played.
I also enjoyed BF3 (Before anyone says LOL COD cigarette PLAY SOMTANG ALSE)
BF3 Multiplayer was a quick let down.
COD got boring after a while, but not Black ops.

I for one can't wait.

In the first Call of Duty I felt like I was a war, UO took it to a a bigger scale with deployable weapons and vehicles. The second game was a watered down version of the first because vehicles and deployable machineguns along with the healthbar were removed. Finest Hour brought vehicles back, but it was a console exclusive. Call of Duty 4 brought 64 multiplayer maps aswell as unlocks and a the ability to call in airstrikes in multiplayer. Every game after that had only had a few minor changes that didn't even make the games worth buying.

All the cigarettes used to say "nothings the same guise, same stuff different disk lole!!!"

Now they are saying "Ogm its so diferent guise same name way diferent game lole!!!!!!1!!!"

Really it has NOTHING to do with Black Operations
Quote from: Wikipedia
A black operation or black op is a covert operation typically involving activities that are highly clandestine and often outside of standard military protocol or even against the law.
Seems to fit to me.

Seems to fit to me.
A full blown out war against combat AIs...
Yep that sure is a cover operation against the law and stuff.

uhh
I think you mean contact and not war
there were no actual armed conflicts during the cold war

All I can see in the trailer is how all the american AIs go batstuffs insane and attack the US.
Really that doesn't seem like Black Operations to me

possibly because the ai aren't performing black ops because they're not programmed to, leaving the main character which you play as for the duration of the campaign doing actual black operations which would call for unorthodox methods to destroy the robots?

think for once.

I wanted to say that the trailer shows how you fight all the robots and stuff in urban combat. Seriously the trailer shows nothing about any unorthodox methods of destroying the robots except shooting them with guns and jets.
Maybe there would be a single mission where you had to kill the guy who was responsible for this crap but in that kind of situation it wouldn't even be something unorthodox or against millitary protocol / the law.
