Go ahead and take a day off, you should take some time to think about how you feel from this. It'll help you confront your feelings rather than let them fester within you as a mental illness.

Feel good knowing Hospis accompanied her in her final days. They're good people from what I've heard.

That's definitely depressing to hear. It's sad to think how you could see someone just a little while ago and have them be happy and healthy but then have something tragic like this occurs. I'm sorry that this happened to you. At least she died without any pain, that's always good to know. I'm sure you are upset and just reading this makes me upset as well. I'm sorry for what happened, but just keep on smiling.

My grandmother died two years ago, It's a shame that I never got to spend some time with her before she passed away, she was in hospital for a month.
I wonder what it's like to be a dying grandparent.
