I snap awake and look at the dead body. "Well damn..." I mutter. "What had to be done had to be done..." I say as I lay back down. "Had to happen eventually..."

I look at Brian, "Go! I need to find a tire of some sort!" I franticaly run to the garage of the house and pick up a couple of tire strips along with a box of 100 .308 cartridges.

Brian sprints through the back door and straight through the closed gate, the wood cracks in some places, and the lock flies off in an unknown direction. He sprints the whole way down to the truck, only to find the dead body of Ash and some other poor sap, and a sobbing Jack on top of the truck. "stuff..." he says, panting heavily.

Jack had stood up and stopped sobbing by the time Brian got there. He slouches a bit, but keeps a strict watch for anything, refusing to look down.
