Author Topic: How many times has New York been destroyed?  (Read 2264 times)

Don't forget Cloverfield.

The thing is, New York/Manhattan is just so recognizable.

Almost anyone from western culture could look at Time Square and know that it's America. It's just a huge icon.

It's there so viewers can identify and relate toward it. Even if you aren't American yourself, seeing that city get destroyed sort of tells you some serious stuff is going down.

Last New York-destroying movie I saw was Godzilla.

Wasn't there a Godzilla that actually attacked Tokyo instead of New York?

When the Aliens invade NC, I will be happy.

When the Aliens invade NC, I will be happy.

Just found out there has even been some alien attacks in London.

WHAT WERE THE ODDS??

i guess im lucky to live in jacksonville. we NEVER get attacked in the movies or games. not even in left4dead.

Why can't we just destroy New Jersey?

I remember when I read the back of the third book in The City of Ember series, it said something like there was going to be a nuclear bomb dropped...
>"AWESOME, CAN'T WAIT TO READ THIS SO MUCH ACTION!"

...in North Carolina.
>"forget I HATE THIS BOOK HNNNNNNNNNG"
