BUILD'N'KILL!

A long time ago, sometime, somewhere in a land of knights in shining armour and burning peasants a war had begun...

King Arthur's Gold - affectionately known as KAG - is a unique build 'n' kill game. Think the creative aspects of Minecraft, plus the fortress-building mechanic of Dwarf Fortress, plus the strategy of Age of Empires 2, plus the fast-paced class-based craziness of Team Fortress 2... with all the unnecessary elements trimmed off, wrapped up in some cross-platform goodness and sprinkled with tasty, tasty pixels.

Why you will want to PLAY IT?

  • It's bloody FUN. After playing KAG you will redefine the word fun. No joke.

  • It's SIMPLE enough to pick up and play within 5 minutes but will hook you for months.

  • The demo is FREE. You don't have to spend money to try it out. It isn't even a big download!

...plus you can build a fortress in multiplayer and fight with your friends against ZOMBIES! Sorry for spoiling that, before we mention zombies you should read this wall of features:

What does the king's gold have to do with this magnificient game? Also, you forgot to mention the terraria-like setting.

The only Terraria related thing I see is the fact that its 2D and made of cubes.

Oh it came out of beta? I played during the beta. It's really fun, but I remember there being a lot of richards on multiplayer.

Terraria-like setting.

Going to try and play this right now.

too bad either one team completely stomps the other or the game drags on for another 10 minutes because each team has this bigass fort that is suicidal to attack so everyone switches to archer.

game needs a stone nerf or a reason to attack

Every server I've joined has had a fine balance of knights/archers and a few builders.

And large forts can be easily penetrated from underground.

Very simplistic. I like this game already.

What does carrying and throwing bodies do?

Throw them at enemies from a high place to kill them? Can you load them into catapults?

Wait, let me test that right now. Catapults I can't test, don't have full version of the game :c

They provide a tiny knockback on impact, but they do what corpses ought to do best: Be meat shields. It can block jabs until it turns into chunks of meat, but it can take a huge amount of arrows before turning into chunks. Quite useful, if you're fast enough.

Huh? I thought they were in the free version. I used them all the time with my friends before i bought it.

Ok, went to a server, tried it. It works. Almost anything can be loaded into catapult. It was a laughtrip, sending bodies to the other side of the map causing mini-knockbacks to knights.

I loved playing the beta, but I have no moneys for this
