no filter though just rendered at a low resolution

the smoke and etc I drew in so just forget about the whole jumping thing and focus on the two seconds of muzzle flash and smoke then.

That's cheating but it still looks pretty rad

i'm not really a patron of the "pixel arts" but I find it useful for improving form because you can focus on details less

this is still pretty stuff but it's got strengths over my other physical drawings

The more different each color in a palette is the less harmonious the colors and shading go together

Humans are forgetin hard to pixelate.

Humans are - hard to pixelate.
You should try dithering if the shading looks odd when using limited color paletts, it can create an illusion of having extra colors.
(Unless it's a style choice not to... Since you don't seem to dither.)
