its actually some client work for a game that went under due to financial issues

it was going to be a game, but then something went wrong
what kinda game? it looks like one of those tycoon like games where you have to manage a ever-growing mothership thing

yeah it was totally a small-scale city builder

in space, though

when i want to make an ascending curve in blockland i usually end up making a guide that looks something like this and i thought it looked pretty so i thought i would post it

here's a version with it going all the way around just for fun:

MY EYES.

Those hues hurt me :c

yeah those are pretty much 100% hues like the red, green, and blue. I wanted bright colors so I could see what I was doing while building in blockland

if I was doing it just for the aesthetics i would have picked other colors lol

edit: in retrospect I probably should have had the lines follow the outside of the eclipse instead to give a better curve to the steps. as you can see since I followed the edge of the canvas it sort of mimicked the square on the inside

there's a stuffload going on in that pic

coming from bushido, it's great as usual

i sort of appreciate the concept that the robotic equivalent to a scar is just a big scorch mark

couldn't it also be the place where to plates are welded together? (Or would that be more of a stitch...)

Just a simple idle test animation. For... something.
