You're eyes can't produce enough rhodopsin to adjust to the darkness fast enough, so your mind tries to make sense of what it is seeing, which is weird shapes and movement.

I guess I could relate to it
sometimes I mistake the wrinkles on my bed blankets as a multicolored lizard's head or something

I think he's some kind of really minor schitzo, since he sees crazy stuff and all.

I think it happens to a lot of people. Shadows freak me out. Ill think i see something but nothing is there -.-

All those people that say this guy is insane are stupid. They obviously just want to scare you. This is a normal thing that happens to me all the time.
