Preferably I like Guinness - it's very perfectionist, and you put a lot into preparing it and drinking it but it's a lovely fine taste.
Guinness is mass produced swill. I don't drink much beer but when I do it's some one-off microbrew or weirdo imported German thing someone gave me. All the popular stuff is super piss water.

I like liquors more. Gin is one of my favorites.

I remember a quote once
"You don't drink beer for the taste. You drink it for the effect."
I'm insane enough sober. Maybe drunk I start talking with a British accent and solving algebra equations or something...

"Mmm, yes quite, ol' chap. What was that? What's x if x = 20 * 42 - 539 + 10? Oh well, I know."

Mak, promise me you'll Skype me if you ever get drunk.

Will do.

Yeah, I could see that...

I know this topic is supposed to be more about beers than just alcohol itself but I have to ask, why does the US have a drinking age of 21 and everyone else has from like 16-19?

im sure it had something to do with driving laws and how they both evolved over the years.

when my mom was a kid they could drink at 18, while you could get a drivers license at 16 by simply paying 20 dollars and having your picture taken at sears. no regulations, it was JUST an ID basically.
and much longer ago of course there was no age limits to drinking or driving.

much longer ago the states had to decide the legality of driving drunk. this was the days before car insurance was required. and became required when there were a crazy 2cars per household and the state couldn't handle all the public repairs and emergency help.

so in the end, its a gay middle ground to where the states feel they dont wanna pay X amount anymore. the statistics of how old drivers are when they are commonly in accidents, and booze (was) heavily used and driven on.

i guess if the US didnt have a huge head start in automobile usage over the world, laws might have evolved differently.

I only drink for the taste, really.

I just finished the glass of Guinness. Very tasty. What I hate the most is that you feel like your eyes are disattatched from your head, though. Alcohol sucks.

Personally I like the sweeter beers

I've tried dry wine and it's absolutely disgusting.

What sadist forget would like that?

Europeans and people with such a heritage... like myself...

I only really like European lager as far as beers goes. I prefer spirits.

Sol and Corona, yay!

Beer is piss water, aquire a glass of wine and enjoy your evening with class.

I went up to my dad and asked, "What is that?"
"Why it's beer."
"Can I try it?"
"Sure."
*take sip*
"buaugh I'm never trying that again."

This happened to me when I was 8, along with wine and coffee. Parenting methods, lol.

Not beer, but idk, remembered this and thought I'd share it for lols.

The most alcohol I've had is when I was home alone, mom had left me a chicken salad sandwich in the fridge, and what I thought was some berry juice next to it that turned out to be wine. I had eaten like, the whole sandwich and was really thirsty so I pretty much chugged down most of the glass, before realizing what it was and promptly throwing up in the bathroom. Seriously, how the hell do people drink wine.
I've never intentionally drank alcohol before either so don't get assumptions :<

I prefer vodka. Beer is gross to me x.x
