I'm not good at cooking, probably primarily because of lack of patience (this is why I also will not be a writer, artist, or composer)
as long as I don't have to do something the whole time (eg if it's just something you stick in an oven for however many minutes), then I can do it okay
but if involves anything complicated I'm just fine with finding something else to make

I would think anything involving the preparation of food would count as cooking, so probably.

i can cook well, but i don't for myself. i only cook fancy stuff for others because i like sharing my work.
