Your pictures are getting a little more interesting, but some of them are starting to look like snapshots. You need to start thinking more about how you compose your pictures. Read up on the rule of thirds. It doesn't always apply, but it's a simple guideline to get you started.

Also you shouldn't only be shooting in f/1.8 You should learn about exposure before you shoot in manual mode.

Day 54: I don't really have much to say about this one, I don't really know anything about street photography. There seems to be a lot of empty space on the right, and it messes up the balance of the picture. I took the liberty of cropping it for you to show what I mean:

Additionally, a lot of black is being clipped, you could pull the black clipping point and exposure up just a little bit (or mess with the tone curve), but not so much that it loses the contrast.

Day 55: Seems like a snapshot to me. It seems like you just saw people looking at neon signs and took a quick picture of it without thinking. I don't personally see anything artist about it, but maybe because it's not really my style of photography. Even though feels like a snapshot, the subject matter makes it a little interesting because it's teenagers looking at beer signs.

Day 56: I'm not sure if you did this on purpose, but the grainy black and white actually helps the effect of the photo. It makes the empty swingset feel deserted. But like your other black and white picture, it's underexposed and your blacks are getting clipped.

Day 57: I like the idea of this picture. However, I think it would have more effect if you were closer to the person. It would probably be best if the person was at the top of the path, so the eye focuses on him then follows the path down the the forest. The picture is a little overexposed, the grass looks like it's glowing. Taking it at something like f/8 would probably fix the exposure and make it significantly sharper.

Day 58: Not really a captivating or stunning picture, but it still has some interesting elements. I like the repetition of the coat hooks and the cracked texture of the wall. The focus looks a little off, it should probably be focused on the jacket. Right now it appears to be focused in front if it.

Just remember I'm not a photography genius, I'm only trying to help you out the best I can.

Thanks, I will use this.
Also you shouldn't only be shooting in f/1.8 You should learn about exposure before you shoot in manual mode.I've been experimenting with this a bit more just recently like for day 60's photo you might see a change in it.

I don't personally see anything artist about it, but maybe because it's not really my style of photography. Even though feels like a snapshot, the subject matter makes it a little interesting because it's teenagers looking at beer signs.I actually kind of staged this one with my friends, I felt it was slightly interesting how the signs, and them looked.

Day 56: I'm not sure if you did this on purpose, but the grainy black and white actually helps the effect of the photo. It makes the empty swingset feel deserted. But like your other black and white picture, it's underexposed and your blacks are getting clipped.I did the grain on accident, but loved it afterwords. It is underexposed I believe this was shot at like 1/60th of second or so, and any lower I probably wouldn't have been steady enough.

I didn't think much of this picture when taking pictures for this day, this was just a snapshot to be quite honest and I enjoyed how it looked.

The focus looks a little off, it should probably be focused on the jacket. Right now it appears to be focused in front if it.The focus killed me after I noticed when I got home, other than that I really did like this one.

Just remember I'm not a photography genius, I'm only trying to help you out the best I can.Well you're far more experienced than me, and your criticism is very helpful!

grasshoppers everywhere

I never got why someone would put a huge bridge in their lawn because a 8" wide stream runs through it.

I never got why someone would put a huge bridge in their lawn because a 8" wide stream runs through it.
It's in a park in town, and literally no water runs through it unless it rains a lot, or when the snow is melting.
