When will the next generation of consoles come?

because they are due soon
I think games have already hit the limit for consoles, considering that every media so far for Halo 4 looks exactly like Reach in terms of graphics quality
not only that, but so far, consoles have been released about every 5-7 years
which would make it logical that the next group should come around sometime
plus, the Wii U. Nintendo's sticking to the trend, and the console is supposed to release late this year
shouldn't Sony and Microsoft be following? maybe a fourth competitor will pop in?
in any situation, they're not doing what I consider the right thing
both Playstation and Xbox have really given only software updates, plus a little change in the console's appearance
which is worthless

anyways, what do you think?

They'll both be out before 2015 I'd bet. Gotta compete with Nintendo's new system, assuming it is more powerful than their consoles.
Rumors have been saying 2013 for Microsoft, and anywhere from 2013-2014 for Sony.
