Why would you fire another baseball in the cannon? Assuming you hit anything, or didn't blow yourself up, it still wouldn't be very affective. The baseball would throw off the aim like huhushsfsdf.
OT: You wind up and launch a ball, knocking in a enemies head with a pretty A-Grade throw. As you reach for another ball you hear a musket shot and feel something tear into your leg. You fall to the ground, screaming in pain. This is worse then the time you dislocated your shoulder at the world series!
Go assist my shipmates in finishing of the enemy pirates aboard our ship.

You yell pirate war cries and run over to a enemy pirate aboard your ship who is clashing with another friendly pirate. You run your sword through his stomach and watch as blood flows from his mouth. You hear a yell and look over and see an enemy with his cutlass raised at you, not more then a foot away.
LIFE CHOICE:
Attempt to pull sword out (its pretty well lodged in there)
Dodge (would lose sword in guys back)
Defend (also try to take sword out or use your shield)
Take defensive stance, back on the mast. Try not to get noticed.
You already were noticed by the burly man and you wonder to yourself as to why you didn't see this before. You watch as he edges closer, swinging his cutlass and grinning like a maniac.
