Notify the allied catapults so that they may barrage the inside--make my way safely inside, cut down any hostiles I see.
Defend the wall with my bat
As you both reach the edge of the wall, you look down and see a large courtyard. Out front are 4 ballista and another mass of enemies. You also see 5 men who look like mages or priests. They are all standing in front of a large gate, barred closed. There are no other obvious entrances. About half of the enemies are wearing metal plate armor, and the other half are wearing the same weak leather that the men on the wall were wearing. You see a catapult ball go streaking towards the enemies below. It stops about 10 feet away and falls to the ground with a thunk.
"They have mages! 50 archers, stay up here, everyone else, kill the mages and the archers can take care of the rest." Both of you run to a tower and run down the spiral staircase, running into the courtyard with many other men.
Remain in cover. I'll go in once everyone is wounded.
A commander picks you up and carries you over his shoulder up that ladder, down the staircase, and into the courtyard. He yells at you for cowering the whole time and shoves you near the front of the line.
