Just thought I'd post about my server, a vanilla SMP.
Build a shelter, build art, join up with other people and have war- do whatever you like, as long as you don't break the rules.
Rules:
No greifing
Don't fight people who don't want to fight
Don't steal
Don't spam
No cursing/vulgarity

Just use common sense and you'll be fine.


Unfortunately, it's not 24/7. But if you'd like, add my server to the server list so you'll know when it is and isn't up.

Are there anti-cheat mods? And why no cursing, I mean its not like anyone is really offended about it on most servers. Unless you have to deal with a parent or something then that makes sense.

Kids.. I hate it when they do that so that is why when they say "Don't cuss I'm 10" that is exactly what I do.

All I saw was the aftermath of that argument, I have no way of telling who did what. Besides, all I saw was you two fighting and killing each other with swords

Sorry to break it to you, but nobody will oblige. Maybe some SS members will, though.

Finally, Golden98 has repeatedly assaulted my company and I. I do guarantee that he stole too (I haven't experienced this, but I did find him right outside 13's hut. A clue? It's on your shoulders now.) Thing is, a lot of the time, crime takes place and there is simply no possible way to garner evidence. However, considering that 3 players can report bad experiences by G98, and only G98 reported any mischief by me (IE: his qualms that I was hacking and cheating) it is simply common sense to take the punishment towards him. Nevertheless, Fred won't be receiving my inventory, since he was pessimistic towards my attempts to help him.

I know I didn't deal with that the best way I could have, sorry for that. But at the same time it was hard to say whether or not either or both of you were telling the whole truth since I didn't see or experience any of it- since I was doing cat litter lol
     Anyways, G98 is gone anyways, he said he thought I wasn't doing a good job managing the server so he left. And I know I'm not great, but I'm still pretty new to hosting Minecraft servers, give me a break :/

Also, seeing how you sprinted across water, did total spins whenever I even got near you (it stopped as soon as the op came by, what a shocker), hitting me from ranges a normal player couldn't even hit from, and somehow managed to obtain full bloody diamond and tools so quickly, while everyone else (from what I saw) was just getting their bearings of iron. The most obvious sign of you using forcefield was that you head freaked out when you pvp'd. Also mentioning how I saw you fly over a hill, and onto to the branch of a jungle tree within a matter of seconds.

I'm not offended by it, if you're talking about me when you say "children," but I really would rather anybody who comes onto my server act their age and speak maturely.
I personally just find cursing inappropriate, rude and immature-  no offense intended to anybody who does.

Cursing is definitely mature so long as it's loving used correctly. Your fear is one towards a non-existent problem.
