Author Topic: Blockland with Direct3D?  (Read 1835 times)

I've recently been trying to record Blockland but with my current rig I just can't record anything that runs on OpenGL with out a very low frame rate.

My rig.
Processor: AMD Phenom II P960: Quad Core, 1.8 GHz
RAM: 4GBs
Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series  (This is probably my problem)

Forgot to say, I need to know how to change Render mode from OpenGL to Direct3D, if I can.

P.S. The menu doesn't list anything besides OpenGL for Rendering modes.

Get a better graphics card

I am unsure if Blockland works with Direct3D as I've heard, Direct3D is new?

Badspot won't completely revise the game just because one user is too poor to buy hardware good enough to run the game.

Plus if you have trouble recording Blockland you need a new computer anyway.

I was just wondering if there was some sort of Driver to help me with my situation, jeez.

I can record pretty much everything that doesn't run on OpenGL.

Get a better graphics card. Better hardware is the only thing that will get you anywhere.

Direct3D is old stuff.

If you actually have a Direct3D only card, your computer is probably too old to run Blockland. Or anything for that matter.

too bad he can run blockland fine
he just has a bad FPS when recording

nothing more can be done other than updating your hardware

disregard this
you're probably on a laptop

OpenGL - 1992
Direct3D - 1995
