Is it worth it to buy a Jtag xbox?

I'm thinking of buying an Xbox 360 someone pre-jtagged in about a week or so since I don't feel like going through the trouble to jtagging it myself. Is it worth getting a jtagged 360? I hear they can mod games like a pc can. And since I don't have a computer at my house it would be cool to be able to mod Skyrim like it was on PC. I also heard that JTagged 360s can get banned from Live. Does that mean just online gaming or will I not be able to buy games/DLC from the market anymore as well? And do JTagged systems RROD a lot?

This is not piracy, a JTAG Xbox is used to run code that wouldn't normally be allowed so that people can use mods online and offline.

they are prone to RROD moreso than other 360's because AFAIK you can only jtag older models

if you want to mod games just spend the money on a cheap PC. modding on the 360 isn't all sunshine and rainbows like you think it may be.
