i personally hate this layout

the colors are too simple, the blue gradient fuzzy bar thing is stupid and out of place, and there aren't enough drop shadows.

To me, this layout isn't an eyesore so I like it.

I think I've been here too long. Every other forum looks messy, ugly, or overcomplicated.

Even though these forums aren't necessarily good-looking...

On topic, yes, I think we're better organised than them.

minecraft forums has ads everywhere and generally looks very sloppy. blockland forums layout is alot cleaner imo

i like the layout of the forums; it's what i'm used to.
all the other forums just look so weird to me, which is why i've stuck with the bl forums for so long.

the posts would be light and dark green?

light and dark green seems like a nice color scheme to base around.

though how would the background be of a baseplate, just a random repeating image?

or perhaps a line of blocks repeating at the bottom, like on my tumblr theme.

I prefer simple stuff; I hate repetitive backgrounds. Also, I like the blue bar at the top; the noise level is perfect.
